Alan's connection with the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen.

Alan has had a long relationship with the Gloucestershire Guild and has exhibited at many of their annual shows; in Painswick, Barrington and more recently, Tetbury. He also has a collection of work at The Guild's shop, Gallery 51, which is housed in the prestigious, Cheltenham based, Wilson Museum. Taking up the offer from the Wilson Museum to present the work of The Guild's craftsmen has been the best move The Guild has ever made. In doing this, a bridge has been created between the Arts and Crafts movement (1880-1920) and the craftmanship of current Guild members.
